Prolly not the best representation of me since I still haven't gotten my music library back loaded onto my comp. But what the hey, let's give it a try.

DIRECTIONS
1. Put your iTunes, Windows Media Player, etc. on shuffle.
2. For each question, press the next button to get your answer.
3. You must write that song name down no matter how silly it makes you look.
4. Title this post what the answer to your last question is.
5.
First Lex of the season

Well, here I am. The first lex of the season is done. By the end of it I realized that it was actually a really good event. And as a bonus I made Baran walk away because the weight of the situation was too much. We were having a festival to Sothas, a festival remembering the dead. And to do so people tell stories. So I, as the person in my profile pic, had some people help me tell a story. Three players, myself, and Tergard Loren, the Thane of Swampgate. So we read this story, one line at a time going around in a circle. Then after it was all done I disintegrated Tergard and walked off laughing. As I was walking off the town was freaking out and followed me to the gate until Felix told me to turn around. At this point the conversation went something like this:
Felix: "Turn around."
August (Me): Turns around
Felix: "Why did you do it?"
August: "Because I could"
Felix: Lethals me in the chest.

Then Cormac carried me back into the town and as we were walking through the middle of town I started laughing and walked out of his hands as he stood there stunned.

The rest of the next hour or so I was killed a few times, and kept coming back to life, while chained to a pole. I was also punched in the face a couple of times by Baran which was fun. Then they found out how to kill me by compelling me to tell the truth many times. And as Felix hammered away on the stone that contained my heart Baran had to walk away because the mixture of screams, laughing, crying, and gagging was too horrifing.

I'm glad it had the effect I was hoping for. But now i'm tired, and still looking for a job. So I need to get back to that.

So it's been about a week since the first P2 event of the season and I'm still reeling from it. Two or three of the caches were found, and I was directly involved in two of them. So I was fairly busy most of the time. And I had a pretty amazing dabble. I worked with Cedric and Baden to make one massive dabble that will be remembered forever.

I still need to find out more information about the Black staffs. All I know is that the person I'm looking for is hiding amongst them. So, the best plan I have now would be to kill them all. However, I'm still unsure of how I would do that. I suppose I could just sink the isle all together and have done with it.

oh, I'm also going to learn sanguimancy. I'm planning on becoming the Master of Sanguimancy. Over the summer I'm going to write a Thesis on Sanguimancy to propose my candidacy. My basic goals are to get it well enough taught that maybe it'll end up in the rulebook for P3. I would absolutely love to play a sanguimancer for an entire campaign. But we'll see. I'm basically spending all of my bga's studying sanguimancy, trying to learn up to the third rank. Granted I'll only be able to buy the second. However, there is a ritual Cedric was talking about that will let me forget skills that I am strongly considering. Basically swap out Neth III for Sang III. Should be fun.

I got back last night from Prophecy. And now I'm still exhausted. It was a good event. I think picking up one handed weapon really made me feel more useful. Now I can actually somewhat defend myself if something comes after me, which helps alot, and makes me a bit more of a speed bump.

I had a great time. And I have to agree with Callenghast that the moving fight to save the high Domani was excellent. Though I don't think that my way was any more vicious than Faelas. But it worked out wonderfully because it completely stopped the fight and led to one of the greatest quotes of the weekend. Cedric came up to me afterwards and told me that I had just demonstrated everything that was right and wrong with nethramancy. I still have to say that enslavement is one of my favorite spells. Earlier Faela and I had been walking with a few others and we were being followed by a group of lachellen. There were 4 of us and 3 of them, but none of us were much for fighters. So they followed us for a while trying to get within javelin range and then Faela and I enslaved two of them and had them fight the other one, then we walked away.

This was a very fun, cold, tiring, emotional weekend. And I enjoyed every minute of it. Though Saturday I was in the same boat as Callenghast. I fell asleep on one of the couches in the tavern and woke up in the morning. I wonder if they would have been able to wake me up if Callen had come. Who knows. Apparently they tried when they were making masks for the masquerade but had no luck.

So I've just posted to see if anyone can make some armor for Balen, that should be interesting. If I can do what I want to do then I should have about 5 or 6 health and 8 mana after I'm done. That should make him a bit tougher. I wonder if anyone will bite. Perhaps they would if I told them this was a step towards something other than nethramancy. Yes, I'm sure that'd do it. Though I'll never give up my death magic. It's to much fun, and besides. I'm going to learn how to use it to eat shadows. So that should be fun.

I'm not sure if this is evident or not, but I've decided to keep my prophecy character in exchange for a way to get more health. So armor it is.

I think that's all I've really got to say for now. Kinda sad I suppose. Oh well, it's good news. at least in my ears, and the tall and pointy ears of some others.
